Working with film production companies and location managers, our mission is to help find the best filming locations and bases in the borough. When that’s done, we’ll pull together the services needed for a successful shoot day outside the studio. 

We can match locations and bases to a brief, issue licences, liaise with location contacts, advise on resident engagement, grant permissions for traffic control and road closures, coordinate parking and more. 

As part of Hillingdon Council, our staff have an extensive knowledge of the borough so, if you need help with any filming requirements, just get in touch. 

If you know where you want to film, this is where you make your application. 

Register your name and the production company details on the Film App system. You only need to do this once, which means that if you’re doing a drama series for example you won’t have to enter these again whilst on the same shoot. Please make sure to enter accurate production company details and an alternative billing address if there is one. 

Please remember to submit your up-to-date public liability insurance certificate and risk assessment.

Please check the documents listed under useful documents on this page and once you have agreed to our terms and conditions, submit the application and you’ll receive an acknowledgement by email. We’ll then review all your details and contact you if we need any further information. If we agree to the shoot you’ll be sent an invoice with payment details.
